The eligible card types are:
Note: If you do not hold any of the eligible credit/debit/ATM cards that can be embedded with the security token, you will be issued a generic Token Card with only the security token functionality.

Why introduce this Token Card?
As part of an industry-wide initiative to enhance online security, a more sophisticated authentication
process called Transaction Signing has been introduced to provide you with added protection against
online fraud and threats.
You will require the use of the Token Card from January 2013 for the following key Online Banking activities:

2. Transferring funds or making payments for amounts above a defined threshold

What is Transaction Signing?
Transaction Signing involves an additional authentication capability where you first need to enter transaction-specific information into the Token Card (such as the last 4-digits of a payee's account number) before a 6-digit transaction signing PIN will be generated for input to "sign" or validate your transaction on Online Banking or Breeze mobile banking.
How to apply?
To apply for your Token Card, login to Online Banking and you will be prompted to select and apply for your Token Card.

How to use your Token Card?

1. There will be no change in the credit limit of your selected credit card, and in the applicable fees and charges
of the selected credit/debit/ATM card.
2. The credit card expiry date will be renewed upon issurance of the new Token Credit Card to the
principal cardholder. Therefore, supplementary credit cardholder(s) (if any) will also
be issued with new supplementary credit card(s) (without the security token function) due to a
corresponding change in credit card expiry date.
3. The card number of your selected credit card will remain the same and there will be no impact on the existing
payment arrangement(s) set up on your credit card (if any).
4. You will need to activate the card functionality on your new credit/debit/ATM Token Card before usage.
