Schemes and features

Micro Loan	Suitable for new start-ups Provides extra cash of up to S$100,000 Can be used for working capital, and other one-off business needs
Loan Insurance Scheme	Provides insurance against customer's loan default Govt. provides up to 50% subsidy on insurance premium Can be used for working capital, broaden distribution channels, new market expansion, new storage space set-up and overseas subsidiaries
Trade Credit Insurance	Provides insurance against customers accounts receivables default Attractive premium rates usually only available to companies with huge trade volumes
Local Enterprise Finance Scheme (LEFS)	Offers SMEs loans at fixed interest rates Interest rate is currently at 6.25% p.a. subject to change by govt. Can be used for working capital, machinery, factory purchase, and factoring loans
Internalisation Finance Scheme (IFS)	Helps SMEs in their overseas expansion plans Can be used to acquire fixed assets overseas and raise working capital for secured overseas projects / confirmed overseas sales orders
